Trump is a flat stupid racist, sexual predator and war criminal. He should be ineligible for the U. S. Presidency. Joe Biden is another demonstrable war criminal. Both Trump and Biden are incompetent and unqualified to lead. Donald John is mentally-disturbed and dangerous. Joe Biden is amoral and OK with exporting dozens of avoidable wars enforcing illegal corporate extraction, exploitation and extortion.

Trump was untrained and unschooled, yet refused debriefings and remains a delusional narcissist. Donald ran America by spending trillions to kill millions for billionaires like himself. In a free country, a racist thug like Trump would not be expanding 56 unprovoked wars of aggression which are bankrupting the nation. Trump killed more people his first eight months in office than Biden and Obama got killed in 8 long years of illegal and unnecessary wars. Now Biden has endorsed these wars and refuses to secure the peace.
In America, freedom has been deferred and denied.

He concluded, “Trump is a clear and present danger to US national security.”
Biden promises NOTHING WILL CHANGE.

Does Lebowitz ever take an antiwar stance publicly? (it’s the most important issue of our time.) How about regarding the many-decades-long apartheid occupation of Palestine by the murderous and Zionist (not to mention US-taxpayer-sucking) illegal and immoral state of Izrahell (by the billions and billions)? Israel and the US are the two most racist and imperial countries (read: neoliberal warmongering and globalist) I can think of off the top of my head. And I lived in NYC for fifteen years. New York, sadly, far from being a bastion of the cult-of-personality-oriented faux left, is a massive and turgid liberal “enclave” of murderously-inclined imperial right-of-center liberals (AND republicans).
Meant to say that NYC is “far from being a bastion” of leftist vision. It IS “a bastion of the cult-of-personality-oriented faux left.”
My initial reaction to the above about Trump is that Lebowitz is as clueless as most faux liberals in the US are (who are NOT leftists by any stretch of the imagination), in fact, they’re slightly right-of-center. Drumpf isn’t by any means a good person; however, to say that he’s a “moron” or “stupid” or “mentally deranged” is to be clueless (in that liberal college-educated way, that is, brainwashed and sheltered) as well as a poor observer of people. Trump was handed his wealth, but he is essentially of “the street.” He lacks the smooth and classy charm of an “Obomber,” certainly, which is really what the liberals are upset about… that is, how his presidency reflects on THEM. Most of them don’t care how many people democratic or republican presidents have murdered in our name. But he’s hardly stupid, even if he IS racist. But he’s hardly any more racist than the Clintons for example (who hide their racist intentions behind liberal rhetoric), (ask a Haitian or a Congolese), or any of our other psychopathic imperial presidents before Trump. For Lebowitz to suggest that the US’s imperial globalist agenda arrived with Trump (as you yourself said) is total crap. Lebowitz, of course, has nothing to say about the ‘Council on Foreign Relations’ who has more influence on US foreign policy than congress does, or the neocons, most of whom are dual US-Israeli citizens. (Big surprise there.) She should keep her mouth shut and turn off her television before she does more damage. By focusing on Trump, we, as a people, miss the bigger picture. (The CIA is NOT our ally.) As Susan Sarandon said all too accurately during the campaign: “anyone but Clinton.” She figured it out. I myself voted for Jill Stein. But I would have voted for Trump before Clinton any day. Any informed person would have done the same.
If you think there is really any considerable difference between Trump and Obama or Bush or Clinton… then you’re “seeing” things in an extremely superficial way, and failing to understand the way our government currently works, probably as it’s handed to you via your television screen or other vapid mainstream media.
