Elect Dr. Jill Stein President November 2024

As of yesterday, Jill received enough delegates to clinch the Green Party presidential nomination. She has swept 21 states’ delegate selection conventions, bringing her total delegate count to 219.

The Green Party is a vehicle for challenging empire and oligarchy in the United States. That’s why Jill has worked hard to grow the party and support Green candidates running for local positions.

Across the country, voters are clamoring for alternatives to the politicians representing the parties of genocide, War and Wall Street. People want someone in the White House that has their best interests in mind: not the interests of AIPAC, corporations, or billionaires. And 2024 is the year to achieve this.

Jill doesn’t take money from super PACs so she relies on individual supporters!

Jill Stein is running for the 2024 Green Party presidential nomination. She declared her candidacy on November 9, 2023.

Biography:
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Stein is a physician, organizer and environmental-health advocate who lives in Lexington, Massachusetts. She has been elected to Lexington’s town meeting twice. In 2003, Stein co-founded the Massachusetts Coalition for Healthy Communities, a nonprofit dedicated to the health and well-being of Massachusetts communities. Stein’s husband, Richard Rohrer, is also a physician. They have two grown sons, Ben and Noah.

Education:
Stein graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in 1973 with a concentration in social relations—a combined major of anthropology, sociology and psychology. She graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1979.

Career:
Before entering politics, Stein practiced internal medicine. She was also a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Stein became an environmental health activist and organizer after noticing that many patients’ ailments stemmed from environmental pollution.

Stein is the co-author of In Harm’s Way: Toxic Threats to Child Development and Environmental Threats to Healthy Aging.

Activism:
Stein first participated in activism as an undergraduate at Harvard College during the 1969 student takeover of University Hall to protest Harvard’s relationship with the military and U.S. foreign policy.

Stein first advocated for the environment as a human health issue in 1998, calling on politicians to protect children from toxic threats.

Stein has testified before legislative panels and governmental bodies. She pressed for updates to Massachusetts fish advisories to better protect women and children from mercury contamination. She helped lead a campaign to clean up coal plants in Massachusetts and to pass coal plant regulations. Stein has served as an environmental health expert on national television news programs and was a Physicians for Social Responsibility board member. She is also an advocate for campaign finance reform.

Awards:

Stein has received Clean Water Action’s “Not in Anyone’s Backyard” Award, the Children’s Health Hero Award and the Toxic Action Center’s Citizen Award.
