The United States Government has been run like a branch of organized crime: a special sort of American business… Funny business that ain’t so funny.
“All of us are more than fed up with mediocrity, hypocrisy, lesser-evil, trickle-down, less-than-perfect settling for spending trillions and killing millions for munitions firms and billionaires who pay no taxes and steal what we pay.
This is more than “less than perfect.” This shakedown is organized crime, committed in our names and on our dime because we let it happen and it comes from both sides of the corporate aisles.
Today’s explosive increase in human CO2 emissions and warming of the oceans are recreating the conditions of the great Permian extinction 300 million years ago
On most areas of economic policy, most progressives agree more than they disagree. But too many people with good hearts refuse to face facts about the last 8 years. This studious ignorance is not helpful. We cannot continue fighting 27 simultaneous, unprovoked and unwinnable wars. This has bankrupted the nation.
Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The day was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly and in 2001, the General Assembly voted to designate the day as a period of non-violence and ceasefire.
Hillary will not be good for women, people of color, non-millionaires in America… or anyone in 27 nations where she wants to continue Obama’s wars. She will not be good for … Continue reading
“During her interview… Dr. Stein quoted Alice Walker: “The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any.”
We make a difference. We cannot allow corporate cons to scare us. We must find the courage to resist. We are under attack and it’s time we stand up and fight back. No justice, no peace. No fear, no compromise and no surrender. http://www.jill2016.com/plan
We can “Shine with Stein”. and The Green New Deal:
“…we are now fighting 27 simultaneous wars… and have been building an empire based on more than 800 offensive military outposts. We sell arms to both sides of artificial conflicts sponsored by the CIA and/or the Pentagon. This increasing and expanding empire, selling unending wars for profit, will bankrupt the nation between 2020 and 2030.”
“Establish a foreign policy based on diplomacy, international law, and human rights. End the wars and drone attacks, cut military spending by at least 50% and close the 800+ foreign military bases that are turning our republic into a bankrupt empire. “
All of us are more than fed up with mediocrity, hypocrisy, lesser-evil, trickle-down, less-than-perfect settling for spending trillions and killing millions for munitions firms and billionaires who pay no taxes and steal what we pay.

“We have become the aggressor: exporting terror, munitions and wars in attacks on smaller and less powerful nations. “We spend trillions, killing millions, for the benefit of billionaires who pay no taxes, steal the taxes we pay and remain oblivious to concerns about our health, security and education.”
The action managed to shut down the rally for close to ten minutes — to Trump’s audible dismay. At one point, the chants of “USA” brought things to such a halt that Trump resorted to begging for police action.
“Where are the police? Get ’em out,” he says at one point. “Get ’em out.”
Bernie Sanders has a very public record, in the congressional record. He votes to support the expansion of empire through wars for profit. The truth matters. Even when, for some … Continue reading
Jill Stein was honored to learn yesterday (Wed. Feb. 26,2016) that Chris Hedges,
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and fearless truth-teller, published an article on Truthdig entitled: “Why I Support Dr. Jill Stein for President”.
Los Angeles: I sat down for an interview with Robert Scheer of Truthdig, who has interviewed every president for the past 40 years. Towards the end he told me – on the record – “I’ve spent quite a bit of time interviewing people who became president or who were president… And so, just in this short interview – there’s no question in my mind that you’re every bit the equal or superior to all of the presidential candidates that I’ve talked to.” Needless to say, I was honored to get a thumbs-up from Robert Scheer, who hasn’t previously been a fan of independent politics. Yet another sign of the rapidly changing political landscape!
