“Hold On” by Tom Waits from the album ‘Mule Variations,’ 1999 Directed by Matt Mahurin
“I’m for truth, no matter who tells it. I’m for justice, no matter who it is for or against. I’m a human being, first and foremost, and as such I’m for whoever and whatever benefits humanity as a whole.”
― Malcolm X

We can surrender to fear, war, hate, violence, injustice and inequity. And we have failed. Or we can refuse to surrender. Courage conquers fear. Peace trumps war. Love is stronger than hate. Violence begets violence. Injustice for one is injustice for all. And while we are not all equal, there is no reason why the richest and most powerful nation on the planet cannot live up to its creed.
“Get up, stand up, Stand up for your rights. Get up, stand up, Don’t give up the fight.”
― Bob Marley,
– Legend
We can become the peace we seek if we
work for justice.
No fear, no compromise and no surrender.
“A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.”
― Edward Abbey
“The question is not if we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be. The nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists.”
― Martin Luther King Jr.
“Peace is the only battle worth waging.”
― Albert Camus
“Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace.”
― Amelia Earhart

Contact elected officials and tell them War is not the answer. Instead of surrendering to war, we must seek victory by securing peace, with honor.

“Ravens are the birds I’ll miss most when I die. If only the darkness into which we must look were composed of the black light of their limber intelligence. If only we did not have to die at all. Instead, become ravens.”

Conservatives vs Liberals is a Corporate Con Game…
False Choices: Logical Fallacies
All people are part liberal and part conservative…
We must conserve what we value (the environment, U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, Civil Rights, Human Rights, Peace, Justice and Freedom… while we secure the peace and seek proactive and progressive civic-engagement.

Dragons… “If you can’t take the heat, don’t tickle the dragon.”
“For instance, dragons are deeply revered by the Chinese. According to legend they have mega-powers that include weather control and life creation. And they’re seen as kind, benevolent creatures. Funny. Every fairy tale I’d ever heard involving dragons starred daring knights trotting off to kill said dragons. Probably the real reason every time East meets West they get pissed off and throw tea in our faces.”
― Jennifer Rardin
The Bluesresource (under construction):
As an electric guitar player who focused more on tone and intensity than flash, Albert King had a tremendous impact on countless rock and roll guitarists, including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Bloomfield and Stevie Ray Vaughan. King was also one of the first bluesmen who crossed over into soul…
“Our nation was born in genocide when it embraced the doctrine that the original American, the Indian, was an inferior race. Even before there were large numbers of Negroes on our shore, the scar of racial hatred had already disfigured colonial society. From the sixteenth century forward, blood flowed in battles over racial supremacy. We are perhaps the only nation which tried as a matter of national policy to wipe out its indigenous population. Moreover, we elevated that tragic experience into a noble crusade. Indeed, even today we have not permitted ourselves to reject or feel remorse for this shameful episode. Our literature, our films, our drama, our folklore all exalt it. Our children are still taught to respect the violence which reduced a red-skinned people of an earlier culture into a few fragmented groups herded into impoverished reservations.”
“Time is on the side of the oppressed today, it’s against the oppressor. Truth is on the side of the oppressed today, it’s against the oppressor. You don’t need anything else.”

Thank you Jill Stein for speaking so articulately for peace & justice for all humanity.
2016 ACTION WISH: 4Jan’15, “If you want peace, work for justice.” & “Become the change you want to see in the world.”, are the earlier process goals of the Green Party GP, but ignored or abandoned in the false supposed priorities of elections. Many of us work in our own multihome dwelling-complexes, lives, communities & workplaces to exemplify what we want the government to do. Multihome intergenerational female-male 100 person critical-mass economies-of-scale are ancient worldwide human ‘indigenous’ (Latin ‘self-generating’) cultural traditions which make us all stronger & more resilient. The strongest message we can send as a ‘party’ (Latin ‘part’ = ‘to-share’) is one of our own mutual-aid culture & inclusive welcoming. As a 2004 GP of Canada candidate & Shadow Cabinet member, I & some others tried to bring the party around to a more hands on everyday cultural welcoming multihome ‘economy’ (Greek ‘oikos’ = ‘home’ + ‘namein’ = ‘care-&-nurture’). There is a strong GP pull towards confrontational ‘protest’ & lobbying politics & the election cycle which dominate 100% of GP energies & money. Public Policy is important but only so much as we are able to exemplify solutions in our own lives locally. The Green Party could use its regular operation & the election cycle as reach-out to bring more people into local groups & processes of joining to create inclusive welcoming life-based team economies.
“We have the power”, already but it seems the Green Party is continually hijacked exclusively by those working on centralized, political & confrontational issues only. We are focused upon cause ‘objectives’ but don’t exemplify these with inclusive ‘subjective’ organization. If collective energy is placed into creating inclusive ‘community’ (Latin ‘com’ = ‘together’ + ‘munus’ = ‘gift-or-service’), then we will be much stronger on more national issues. The problem of not ‘exemplifying’ our values, stems from our colonial ‘exogenous’ (L ‘other-generated’) worldview & habits as individuals & as institutional societies. We aren’t aware that all humanity’s worldwide ancestors are originally ‘indigenous’ with cultural traditions which pre-date & integrate the best of both capitalism & socialism. We continually get swept up in the reactionary institutional fragments of left & right, when it takes both wings to fly. 70% of humanity presently live in ~ 100 person multihome (apartment, townhouse & village) dwellings. Indigenous traditions worldwide are based in organizing around 100 people in the multihome, animated through indigenous integrated time-based accounting practices. If we want to create a cultural ‘movement’, we need to think about recognizing, inventorying, mapping & investing in order to animate our present resources. Indigene Community compiles humanity’s worldwide ‘indigenous’ heritage for sustainable abundance & peace in our time. ‘Do-we-know-who-we-are-?’ is an open-source/data Community Economy software project based in multihome dwellings & neighbourhoods to help local animists 1) Catalogue local neighbourhood talents, goods & services, 2) Map resources & 3) account for economic transactions in a Community Investment & Exchange-System where all invest & decide in their own area of individual & collective expertise. https://sites.google.com/site/indigenecommunity/structure/9-do-we-know-who-we-are
