The 1980s were a time of very active American military intervention around the world.
Large corporations do not pay sales taxes, property taxes, payroll taxes, Social Security or Unemployment. Everyday working people and consumers pay all of these taxes.
In America, militarized police have been given permission to murder at will and leaders export terror, munitions and unprovoked wars of aggression abroad. This violence trickles down into our schools.
If we invest in alternative energy, we can establish colonies on the moon and explore the stars.

American foreign policy under Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, when considered by the non-partisan observer, has a sense of continuity – and escalating and expanding aggressiveness.
