In June 2025, a “No Kings Day” rally and parade is planned for June 14th in Missoula, Montana. The event will begin at 4 PM at the Xes and feature community organizations and Pride groups. It will be followed by a rally at the BN Plaza, focused on the United States as a democracy, not a kingdom.

No Kings Day Rally
No Kings Day Parade and Rally!
The Missoula June 14th event, which coincides with Flag Day and Trump’s shameful military parade birthday party, will be a community parade followed by a rally. The parade will begin at 4PM at the Xes. The parade will feature as many different community organizations, affiliation groups (e.g. military branches, PRIDE, returned Peace Corps volunteers, etc…) as possible, along with accompanying marching music. Community groups are encouraged to bring flags, banners, and community art with them as they march.
At the conclusion of the parade, the rally program will begin. The focus of the rally is on how the United States is a democracy representing a diverse and resilient people, not a kingdom. Speakers will highlight that resilience and will feature groups that our government has tried to force to assimilate (most of which also have June days of celebration): the U.S. military, African Americans, LGBTQIA2S+, and Native Americans.
Following speeches, the event will be a community celebration featuring local musicians, information tables from local community organizations, and food trucks

Transform Brooks-Connect Midtown Open House
June 12, 2025, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM@Mountain Line and the City of Missoula’s Redevelopment Agency (MRA) invite the public to an open house on Thursday, June 12, to review the results of the Transform Brooks–Connect Midtown study. The study examined fixed-route bus rapid transit (BRT) and transit-oriented development (TOD) along the Brooks Street corridor.
Study results will be presented by the consulting team from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Stockman Bank, 3615 Brooks St. Attendees will have the option to review the study results as a self-guided tour and/or watch a brief presentation at approximately 6:15 p.m. City Councilors Mirtha Becerra and Mike Nugent, and Mayor Andrea Davis will also provide remarks on the study. A video version of the presentation will be available on Engage Missoula the following day.
