The Departments of War, “Justice” and freedom have been working overtime. But the “Defense” industry is effectively the American Department of Proactive Aggression and 56 expanding wars. Dr. Jill Ellen Stein will seek the Green Party nomination, a spokesman said. The Republicans brag about dozens of American wars and Democrats lie about American exports of 56 unprovked wars of aggression. Nobody has attacked this nation, but the war parties continue to bankrupt the nation and cripple Mother Earth. Dr. Stein is the only candidate for the presidency who promises to shut down these corporate-American wars and restore peace, human services, renewed infrastructure and a healing planet. It is about time.
I met Dr. Stein in Portland Oregon, back in 2011. I joined dozens of writers, journalists and editors who were excited and interested in having been invited to have dinner with Jill Ellen Stein and her campaign staff. Jill Stein not only had great answers, but she knew all the right questions. I am a natural skeptic, but am impressed by her expertise.

“Under a Stein presidency, the military economy will transition to a green economy, with decreased dependence on fossil fuels, and an end to subsidies for military contractors. The Fortune 500 makes more money from weapons sales in America than in any other nation on the planet. This stimulates the economy, but these funds come out of everyday peoples’ pockets. A green alternative of securing the peace would create jobs, and do so without causing the deaths of countless millions around the world.
