International Observers: US elections

“Considering about 50% of voters have no confidence in the election process,
isn’t it time we seriously consider international observers?”

This is old news. And sending in observers is not up to us. They are already at work. 90% of the rest of the planet understand that corporate interventions have destroyed the American electoral processes. They sent in observers to the last two elections.

International election observers in U.S. hoping to “calm some of the fears” around the vote

November 2nd, 2020:

“London — In the lead-up to Election Day, international observers have been on the ground in the U.S. monitoring electoral procedures to report on how — and whether — the democratic process works. They’re watching how absentee ballots are handled, access to polling places for early voting, and compliance with changing electoral laws across the country.“ We really do set the gold standard in election observation internationally. So one of our aims is, not only to produce a good analysis and then recommendations, but also hopefully to calm some of the fears that people might have,” said Urszula Gacek, who heads the U.S. observation mission of the Organization for Cooperation and Security in Europe.”

“Corporations now spend about $2.6 billion a year on reported lobbying expenditures—more than the $2 billion we spend to fund the House ($1.18 billion) and Senate ($860 million).

“Today, the biggest companies have upwards of 100 lobbyists representing them, allowing them to be everywhere, all the time. For every dollar spent on lobbying by labor unions and public-interest groups together, large corporations and their associations now spend $34. Of the 100 organizations that spend the most on lobbying, 95 consistently represent business.”
