Donald John Trump, James Donald Bowman David Vance and Peter Brian Hegseth already lost their ill-fated and wrong-headed war on Iran.
These clowns do not have an option of “bringing the military hammer down on Iran… now or after the midterm elections. Tehran, backed by Russia and China has no reason to surrender. Trump et all may want to wage a “maximum pressure campaign” against Iran in corporate-western Media, but this will do them little good. The whole world knows better. .
Between 1974 and 2025, the 7 administrations preceding Trump did not attack Iran. This is because these administrations had presidents who actually attended debriefings, had military experience, were functionally literate and neither stupid nor psychotic.
This campaign is sure to fail. It reflects the Trump administration’s desperation which resulted from his starting a war the United States was bound to lose. There is nothing he can do now to change these facts.
Trump’s propaganda campaign is formulated in Bizarro World. The United States is grossly outmanned and effectively out-gunned in conventional resources.

Bob Dylan – Talkin’ World War III Blues
Russia, China and Iran have 1,649,477,044 people. The USA and Israel have about 354.78 million people. Iran and her allies have 4.7 times as many people as Iran and the USA.
The U.S.–Israel alliance holds a theoretical military and technological edge, but faces a coordinated, multi‑domain challenge from Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, whose cooperation is expanding in scope and impact. In an actual war between the U.S.–Israel alliance and a CRINK alliance, Nuclear Weapons are off the table. This means the US and Israel are outgunned strategically and operationally.
To evaluate who is “outgunned,” the essential military question is:
Where is the war being fought?
The United States is ostensibly the only military on Earth capable of projecting and sustaining major joint combat power simultaneously across multiple non-contiguous theaters and Israel possesses one of the world’s most modern, highly trained air and intelligence apparatuses. But this is a conventional war.
China has built a potent regional navy (PLAN), including long-range logistics and carrier strike aviation that can contest open oceans, and global bases. And Russia’s conventional ground forces may have negligible blue-water navy capabilities, but Iran and North Korea are effective regional actors.
If the conflict is global, China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea do not even need to threaten the U.S. homeland conventionally. And we have seen that they can coordinate operations across oceans. Russia won World War Two virtually alone. The operational tempo would vary according to critical strike zones.
The U.S.–Israel Coalition vs Russia / China / Iran / North Korea is a mixed bag.
The US and Israel have massive qualitative and quantitative edges in 5th-generation stealth fighters (F-35, F-22), advanced B-2/B-21 stealth bombers, and an unparalleled fleet of AWACS and aerial refueling aircraft. But China fields the J-20 and modern 4.5-gen fighters in volume, and while Russia’s modern air inventory is constrained and Iran and North Korea fly older but proven 3rd/4th-generation platforms, in any contested airspace away from mainland Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS), the U.S. and Israel can potentially control the skies, but the skies are NOT what they must defend.
The nuclear attack submarine fleet is irrelevant in conventional warfare. China has more hulls overall, but most are smaller coastal corvettes/frigates. Russia retains capable quiet submarines, and its surface fleet is largely unnecessary. Iran and North Korea possess green-water/littoral craft and midget submarines. The U.S. has a theoretical undersea & blue-water dominance. U.S. attack submarines would interdict Chinese and Russian sea lines of communication almost unopposed in deep water.
American ground forces may be professional, but they are NOT combat-tested. Russia, on the other hand, is actually involved in real combat. The Israel and US alliance has fully mechanized combined-arms forces with total air-ground integration, but they are smaller in raw troop numbers. The CRINK alliance has overwhelming quantitative manpower and massive tube/rocket artillery inventories. The CRINK bloc advantage is that they are on home ground. The U.S. and Israel cannot defeat these armies in a land war inside Eurasia.
Massive arsenals of conventional ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles designed for Anti-Access/Area-Denial (A2/AD) near home coasts (DF-21D, DF-26, Iskander are no match for Iranian ballistic arrays).Within 1,000–1,500 km of China or Iran, allied bases face heavy saturation risk. Beyond that range, CRINK strike capacity is not relevant.
Conventional warfare between major powers is fundamentally a war of industrial stamina, raw materials, and economic resilience:
China is the world’s largest net importer of crude oil and food, relying heavily on maritime chokepoints like the Strait of Malacca and the Bab el-Mandeb.
In a conventional conflict, the U.S. Navy would need to fight inside the range of China’s coastal missile batteries; We have seen that the US cannot enforce an economic and energy quarantine in the Indian Ocean, Persian Gulf, and the First Island Chain gaps. It is in fact Iran, Russia and China who can more successfully cut off energy supplies and foreign trade.
The U.S. and Israel have deeply integrated command-and-control structures, shared datalinks (Link 16), standardized munitions, and decades of joint operational exercises.
The Russia-China-Iran-North Korea axis is an alignment of convenience which is rapidly becoming a formal, interoperable military alliance. They are currently developing a more unified command structure, divergent strategic objectives, and overcoming language barriers, while upgrading communications networks.
The U.S.–Israel Alliance Would Face Serious Vulnerability: There are specific operational scenarios where the alliance would be severely tested:
Short-Range Missile Saturation: Iran, Hezbollah/regional proxies, and North Korea maintain enough short-to-medium-range rockets and drones to overwhelm interceptors (Iron Dome, David’s Sling, Patriot) through sheer volume over sustained periods, causing massive infrastructure damage to Israel or forward U.S. regional bases.
Operating within the First Island Chain (Taiwan Strait, South China Sea) would expose U.S. carrier strike groups and bases in Guam or Okinawa to dense salvos of Chinese anti-ship ballistic and hypersonic missiles.
Western defense manufacturing currently struggles to produce precision-guided munitions, air-defense interceptors, and 155mm artillery shells at the rate a sustained peer-level war would consume them. China’s shipbuilding and industrial manufacturing output far exceeds current U.S. “peacetime” capacity.
Taking nuclear weapons off the table does not leave the U.S. and Israel operationally outgunned; but this exposes structural differences between expeditionary maritime/air power and continental land/missile power.
The CRINK bloc could present severe, localized overmatch near its own borders, and would not require the global surveillance, blue-water sea control, and air-refueled logistics to defeat the U.S.–Israel alliance across the global theater. The outcome would not be a one-sided defeat, but rather a protracted, geographically asymmetric war of attrition where the U.S. struggles to controls the global commons and maritime supply lines, while CRINK controls in the Eurasian interior.
Only a fool like Donald might commit the United States in a losing proposition of war against Iran, Russia, China and their allies, but in fact… Trump already blundered into World War Three and is losing.
